Summer Happenings: "Paint and Pantry" Show at the Tyler Florence Shop
Thanks to the wonderful team at Tyler Florence for hosting a wonderful reception - the art was creatively displayed among the shop's wonderful cooking and entertaining wares - and over a hundred people came through! It is always fun to meet up with old and new friends and collectors. The next time you are in Mill Valley, California - be sure and stop by the shop at 59 Throckmorton Avenue.
Just a few left! The limited edition print of Mount Tamalpais.
Limited edition signed and framed prints of "Mt. Tamalpais, Richardson Bay" are now available. This 10" x 20" giclee, printed with archival inks on heavy watercolor paper, was featured in the Mill Valley Arts Commission Open Studios Preview Show in April 2010, and on the main gallery wall of the Marin County Fair in 2009. The prints are available beautifully matted and framed in either white, or honey wood. Framed size is 14" x 24". The price, framed and including tax is $250. If you would like to purchase one, send me a note using the
"Contact the Artist" link.
The Depot...another favorite!
The iconic Mill Valley scene - people and yellow dogs enjoying a warm spring day at the Depot - has been made into prints.
It is available as an 11 x 14 photo print, matted and ready for framing for $50. There are five in stock.
Also available, a 16 x 20 poster, for just $30. There are only two left.
Artist in the Garden: the 2010 Outdoor Art Club tour
The Outdoor Art Club in Mill Valley, California, invited me to be one of five plein air artists on the
"Art, Architecture and Garden" tour this year. I painted at a lovely cottage with an English-style California garden. The owner had two sweet, small dogs that wandered on the sun-dappled paths while I was doing my research, and that inspired me to get down to their level and paint a dog's-eye view of the garden.
Facebook Raffles: your chance to win a small painting
Every so often, I have a Facebook painting raffle where one lucky fan wins a small study painting. In February, it was a still life. In April, a landscape. If you are on Facebook, visit and "like"
Linda Rosso Studio and you'll be eligible for the next drawing.
